FAQs
What do I get for my money?
All wedding clients receive an album containing between 200 and 300 edited proofs, depending on the length of the shoot. That’Äôs yours to keep. Additionally, clients receive a framed 11x14 of their choosing. Print packages are available starting at $20 through the studio. Click here for a price guide.
Can I get a photo CD, too?
Yes, for an additional $200. In addition to all edited photos, the client also receives a print release.
Do you charge for mileage?
No, providing travel does not exceed 50 miles one way. If it does, my mileage rate is 59 cents/mile.
Can we go outside for our pictures?
Absolutely!
How many weddings have you done?
No idea, but probably around 40. I typically shoot six to 10 weddings a year.
How long does an average wedding shoot last?
Because all weddings are different, and because different people want different things, it’Äôs hard to say. But, on average, a typical wedding shoot ranges anywhere from 5 to 7 hours. That usually includes 2 hours for formals, an hour for the ceremony, and an hour or two (or three) for any post-wedding festivities ’Äî including the reception.
How far in advance do I need to book you?
One calendar year is typically safe, but many of my bookings happen within the calendar year.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes, $200 (non-refundable), which will be applied to your session fee. Half the balance is due the day of the wedding with the remainder due when you receive all products to your satisfaction.
How soon until I receive my pictures?
Six to eight weeks.
